SleepEQ Editorial Team
The SleepEQ Editorial Team creates and maintains the educational content published in the SleepEQ Wellness Blog.
Our purpose is to make sleep science and research easier to understand so readers can make better-informed decisions about their sleep.
Who We Are
The SleepEQ Wellness Blog is produced by the SleepEQ Editorial Team, with editorial oversight by John Davis, Chief Technology Officer at SleepEQ.
John oversees SleepEQ's digital publishing standards, research and sourcing requirements, and content quality assurance.
Wellness articles are published under the SleepEQ Editorial Team byline unless a different author is clearly identified.
How We Create Our Content
SleepEQ Wellness articles are developed using an evidence-led editorial process.
Depending on the topic, we review sources including:
- Peer-reviewed scientific research
- Government and regulatory agencies
- Academic and medical institutions
- Professional medical and sleep organizations
- Relevant human clinical and observational research
We aim to represent the strength of the evidence accurately, distinguish established findings from emerging research, and explain important study limitations when they affect how a finding should be understood.
SleepEQ may use AI-assisted tools to help organize research and support the drafting process. Content is reviewed and edited by the SleepEQ Editorial Team before publication, and scientific, medical, regulatory, and product claims must be supported by appropriate sources.
Why We Publish
We publish Wellness content to help readers better understand common sleep questions, changing sleep patterns, available research, and approaches to supporting better sleep.
SleepEQ is also a sleep-support company, and some Wellness articles may discuss SleepEQ or its ingredients when relevant to the topic. Product-related information is held to the same sourcing and evidence standards as the rest of our educational content.
Physician-Authored Education
The SleepEQ Wellness Blog is separate from our physician-authored Education content.
SleepEQ Education articles are authored by Brian Harris, MD, a board-certified sleep medicine physician. Physician-authored articles are clearly identified by his byline.
We only identify content as medically reviewed when a qualified medical professional has actually reviewed that specific article.
Corrections and Updates
We update content when meaningful new evidence or information affects its accuracy or usefulness. Substantive revisions may receive an updated date while preserving the original publication date.
If you believe something we have published is inaccurate or requires clarification, please contact us through our Support page.
